I'm fine with not getting any positive news. Maybe I need to change my story, or my query letter. I can even accept if people don't like my book. I imagine most people write because they love doing it. Otherwise, we wouldn't put in the time.
I think I'm mainly complaining about the process. This is all subjective, and agents are gatekeepers. With form letters, we never get any true feedback, so how does one become successful? By luck? Or maybe you have to know somebody. It's impossible to know with form letters.
