What would you like me to include here?

I’m getting a lot of views, but not comments yet. Let me know if there is anything you would like me to post about my research and/or Calusa sites in the area where I live in SW Florida. I still have several shell mounds and other sites to visit.

I’ve never been to Mexico, so I am reading more books and looking up more sources on the Aztecs. I just bought a book, “The Broken Spears” that features rare views of the Aztecs regarding the Spanish Conquistadors.

I first became interested in all of this when I read about how the Calusas killed Ponce De Leon with a poison arrow. From there I thought about what could have happened if the Calusa tribe allied with the Aztecs against the Spanish. Maybe things would have been different.

Also, it would be great if you would share some of your interests in historical fiction and books you are writing. I would really like to learn about your interests. Thanks!
